We are reflecting today on all of those who were affected by the bombing in Boston. We hope those involved are receiving support from friends, family members and even strangers as they struggle to understand what's happened and how their lives will be affected. Not only people were impacted; property and businesses were too. Whether it was a business owner who couldn't operate his or her business, or an employee who couldn't come to work the next day, the affects will linger on. A sad fact is that business insurance have an exclusion for terrorism, and owners don't see a need to add the coverage onto their policies. If this raises questions for you and your business, feel free to call us at 503-288-8818. We are here to help.

Our NE Broadway Business Association colleagues are sponsoring a major recycling opportunity on Sunday, April 21 from 9 am to 1 pm. Bring your hard-to-recycle styrofoam and document shredding to the NEBBA recycling event in the parking lot of 2100 NE Broadway, Portland. While we understand that you likely receive a large amount of mail from your insurance company, please take the time to read it carefully. Some may have selected recurring automatic payment plans like credit card or checking account EFT so aren't looking for that "bill" to pay monthly. However, expiration dates change and other bank glitches do occur. This mail may in fact bring a bill that you are not expecting. Failure to pay on time could result in a cancellation. In addition to billing changes, the mail might bring news of changes to your policy. It's always a good idea to spend a minute or two reviewing it. Please contact us if we can be of assistance. We are here to help!
